Tokenized stocks
Equity exposure, priced on-chain and traded like any other market on the desk.
Tokenized stocks are on-chain instruments that track a listed company's share price. On this desk they are a CFD on that token's price, which makes two things worth being plain about.
- You do not own the share, and you do not own the token. You hold a contract for difference on its price.
- No shareholder rights attach. No vote. No dividend passed through.
- The market trades on the venue's hours for that token, not the underlying exchange's opening bell.
What you get in exchange is that it settles like the rest of the desk: same ticket, same margin, same stop and target behaviour, in the same account, without a separate equities relationship.
